about
Following up on the collab single ‘Cyberwar’ that was released in 2018, Heiniche and Negant continues to explore what happens when synthwave meets industrial EBM. And yet again the result is a cyberpunk floor filler track.
Based on the instrumental version from the recently released ep ‘Decayed Future’ by Heiniche, ‘Twisted’ has gotten an upgrade with lyrics and vocals by Negant and a new mix.
The synthwave act Heiniche consists of Nickey Heiniche who recently released his second ep ‘Decayed Future’.
Negant is consisting of three veterans from the Danish industrial EBM scene, namely Jens B. Petersen (ManMindMachine, Bitter Distrust, ex-Neotek), John R. Mirland (Mirland, Am Tierpark, M73, Mirland/Larsen, Bitter Distrust) and Tommy B-Kuhlmann (In Absentia, ManMindMachine, Bitter Distrust). Negant is currently working on new singles and their second album album to released in 2020.
lyrics
Lyrics:
Analyse target
Adjust strategy
Tactical effect
Blast the enemy
Chorus:
Twisted
Reality
Upgrade
Hostility
Twisted
Wargames
A glitch
In the mainframe
Running in the grid
Refine the madness
Upgrade the conflict
A calculated mess
State-of-art warfare
It didn’t compute
Humanity’s nightmare
When reason has gone mute
